Great way to keep the battery up! Install the pigtails on the bike and all you have to do is plug it in! Easy to use - and they provide a "cheat sheet" on the back if you forget what the lights mean. Charges faster than the "jr" model.

Oddly the instructions say this is not to be used outside! So much for my carport. Not sure why, but not everyone has a garage, and it can't be used in a closed space with a hot water heater or other flame or spark. Anyway I've used it intermittently (outdoors) for the past 4 years and it seems to have really helped my battery life. My stock battery has lasted 4 years and 24,000 miles--finally had to buy a new one. I plan to keep my new battery charged with it regularly and see what happens.

Have had this unit since I purchased my bike and use even if the bike is not being stored for long periods. I still have the original battery in my bike and its 8 yrs old. It does a diagnostic check on the battery when you attach it so you know i there is a problem.
