What a difference! I had the Metzler 880 front on when I got this bike a few months ago and experienced the "Wing Wobble" that others had told me about between 35 and 45 mph. To be fair the tire was badly cupped on one side and worn close to the wear indicators. I took the advice of Kyle here and boy was he right! It transitions so smoothly now and I have ultimate confidence where I once was fearful! NO WOBBLE ! Tracks straight and I can ride hands free for miles (Not suggesting just mentioning). I would buy this tire again in a heartbeat!

had the 'stones on my '04 wing last summer, got a nail in the rear, and had them both changed. I did not like the front tire at all. It really slipped a lot on the "tar snakes". If it was a hot day,or slightly wet, like after a rain, if you went over the tar snakes at even a slight turn, the bike would slide right off of them, which got to be a little tense at times if you were in the rain and there were a lot of repairs done to the road, which, being in the chicago area, is quite common. So far, the avon seemed to be the best tire for the front so far, even better than the E3's
