I bought my Dowco cover over 6 years ago when I purchased my new VTX 1300C from the dealer. Since my motorcycle is stored outside, I use it daily. It is still in good repair and still serves me very well. They don't last a liftime - however, they pay for themselves many times over. It's convenient, goes on quickly, stays in place and has protected my motorcycle from extreme summer heat, sun and winds that could have severly discolored my bike, but with my Dowco, my bike looks as good as the day I bought it. I recommend this product to every bike owner, whether you store your bike indoors or outdoors. Even after I added the windshield and other accessories the cover still fit perfectly. I'm passing my cover on to a good friend and buying a new one very soon. Why? Because I want a different color combination. This time - I buying from Cruiser Customizing!!
