I got really excited when we started carrying this product. Finally a solution to lock up all the valuable gear on your bike so you don't have to carry it around with you (or worry that someone might steal it).
Not that I ever had a helmet or jacket stolen off my bike. But it does happen. My buddy Greg left his chrome novelty helmet on his seat while he was shopping at Home Depot. Someone stole the helmet. He rode without helmet to his house just a couple of miles away and got pulled over by a cop. He got away without having to pay for a ticket. That ticket would have been hundreds of dollars.
Anyway, back to the helmet lock. All you need is an existing bolt on your bike. You install the washer on that bolt (you might have to get a longer bolt in some instances). Now you can mount the helmet lock, insert the cable through the helmet and into the lock. Off you go.
I recommend getting the additional 6 foot cable as well. Great for locking up multiple helmets and jackets. Just last weekend I was riding with a buddy and my girlfriend as on the back of my bike. I locked up 3 helmets and a jacket. Love it!

Good product/idea. A must have if your helmet lock is blocked by saddle bags. I like it. A little frustrating locking the cable into the lock itself. Sometimes take a fews tries to get it right.... But it feels secure.

easy to install, havent used it much yet as I live and travel in country Australia, so no need to lock everything up all the time, I will edit review when I've had time to use it more, a little tricky to use 2 cables at once but I'm sure in time it won't be a problem.
