Product Description

The BTS 200H (Half Helmet) is designed for those riders who ride with beanie style helmets or no helmet at all! The IMC Camos BTS 200 Bluetooth® headset/intercom boasts impressive features, including support for 3 simultaneous connections. Wirelessly connect to stereo music, intercom, and your cell phone all at once!

Channel 1 supports both A2DP (Wireless Stereo) as well as the headset profile (Cell Phone, GPS, 2 Way Radio) with interrupt priority. Channel 2 adds the option for full duplex wireless intercom (intercom will interrupt stereo music for crystal clear communication).

The IMC Camos BTS 200 builds on the success of the BHS 600 by adding an improved case design, larger buttons and improved headset design. Pairing is also much easier with setup taking only seconds. Addition of a large mute button makes it easy to pause music when conditions call for silence.

The BTS module can be affixed to a beanie helmet or put in a shirt pocket. Then the headset is placed on over the ears, and provides good audio up to highway speeds. The directional noise canceling microphone makes communicating with a passenger or making a phone call clear and easy.

Features:

• Bluetooth® 2.0 Technology for Highest Quality Stereo Audio (A2DP) and Microphone Clarity (HSP)
• High Quality Stereo Speakers Designed for Half Helmet Applications
• Large Mute Button for Increased Safety
• Waterproof Case
• Directional Noise Cancelling Boom Microphone Provides Outstanding Voice Quality
• Easy Mounting via Clip On Mounting System or Double Sided Tape Mount. Fits to any Half Helmet
• Full Duplex Rider to Passenger Wireless Intercom (Channel 2)
• Micro USB Headset Connector Allows Easy Transfer Between Headsets.
• Rechargeable Lithium Polymer Battery Provides up to 14 Hours Battery Life with 180 Hours Standby

Kit Includes:

• 1- BTS 300 Module
• 1 AC Charger
• Micro USB "Over the Ears" Headset with Dual Stereo Speakers and Built in Boom Microphone

True the phone will pair to the GPS, but your GPS does not have Bluetooth OUT. Meaning it can pair to a phone and use the built in speaker and mic for the audio. However it doesn't have the abilities the Zumo has to use the HSP Bluetooth profile. If you don't believe me call Garmin or try pairing a different headset to your GPS, you won't be able to do it. That is part of the reason why the Zumo costs so much. Also the new Zumo has A2DP which can be paired to the headset for stereo music, the Zumo 660 is the ONLY Gps that has that functionality and the Zumo 550 and 660 are the ONLY Gps' that can pair with a headset. Period. (and the Tom Tom Rider)

You know, I almost bought into this explanation but I think not. If my Bluetooth earpiece can link to my phone without having to enter any digits, I cannot see why the Garman GPS will not link to a stereo headset. My phone links to it very easy. As for a download to make the connection, there must be one as there is a "app" for everything else. The Garman unit should be able to make the link by recognizing the model number of the unit or a series of clicks on the mute or talk key. As for the GPS not having any Bluetooth out, how can I talk through it when the phone is in my pocket if there isn't any Bluetooth out?

To the reviewer above, you are not using a Zumo so without a bluetooth adpater for the GPS output you cannot pair ANY headset with your GPS. No download in the world is going to give your GPS Bluetooth OUT. If it has a headset out jack you can add a stereo adapter and enjoy the best sound quality of any Bluetooth headset.
