This masterpiece weighs in at a scant 1450 grams and meets or exceeds SNELL M2005 and D.O.T. standards and is also F.I.M. ready. Wind tunnel tested to maximize aerodynamics and minimize wind noise. The CARBON comes in three different shell sizes to provide a superior “sport” fit for different head sizes and shapes.
The exclusive QUAD PORT VENTILATION SYSTEM (4 external/6 internal ports) and adjustable RAM AIR chin bar vent offer excellent airflow throughout the helmet. The RAPID FIRE SHIELD REPLACEMENT SYSTEM enables quick, secure, tool-less shield removal and installation.

I just went out for my first ride with this helmet last night. I can say I was 100% pleased with the RKT101. The venting was good, although a bit of wind noise comes with this. The helmet is really light, fits well and doesn't bounce around at highway speeds. Very comfortable and upon removal I was suprised to find that my head wasn't sweating, which happens with the other 3 helmets that I own. My other full face a Shoei RF-1000 is so heavy and hot that it gives me a neck ache everytime I wear it and it is nearly impossible to wear in the summer because it's like sticking your head in an oven. I won't know how this performs in extreme heat until next year but I know I will get far more use out of the RKT101 beacause it is so much lighter and very comfortable. Plus... the Carbon Fiber looks great.

GREAT helmet! I picked one up two weeks ago and it is amazing. Super light and the interior is ultra soft and cushy... Very pleasing to my face. Had some unseasonably hot weather and I was thrilled with the venting, I could actually close one vent and feel the other side of my head getting the fresh cool air, this is a first for me with any vented helmet..The vents REALLY work. I got the gradient shield to go with it and I can change the shield in 7 seconds (I was think about doing it at a stoplight LOL!)very easy. I thought I was just getting a cool looking helmet but I was pleasantly suprised with the most comfortable and lightest helmet I have ever worn and all at hundreds less than the Shoei and Arai's that I was looking at.
