This is a great entry level intercom. The sound quality is a bit rough, and the cables can use some beefing up. We have used the unit for two years, and enjoy it. Keep it out of the rain, even a mist. The rechargable batery works very well.

I have owned the HJC 50 for almost 5 years now and my wife and I are completely satisfied with its performance. We are using HJC helmets with the built in speaker pockets designed for this system. I find that the stereo sound reproduction is quite good when used with my Sony CD walkman. No problem hearing music or communicating with passenger at 75 mph. I would highly recommend the product.
