The moose paws are well made. They weren't necessarily designed for my application but I thought for the price, I'd give them a try. They keep your hands warm while riding in cold temperatures. The only issue I see is when you remove your hand(s) while going above 50mph it is hard to get your hands back into them. This can be dangerous while riding on the highway. A recommendation would be to add a stiffner to the opening.
These do a good job of protecting hands from the wind. Instead of feeling cold wind, only the cold is felt, which can make a big difference. They lowered my comfortable temperature by about 10F degrees (from 40F to 30F, maybe lower).
The only drawback is they aren't very solid so if you have big hands/gloves, it can be hard to get your hands in quickly without pushing them forwards off the handgrips. This may be easily remedied with more velcro straps, however.
