Bottom Line:

I researched helmet bags a lot before buying these. Bought these based on the reviews, design, and price.

They accept helmets very easily through the top-to-bottom zipper opening (there's an inside flap that covers the zipper in order to protect metal-on-helmet rubbing). The small zipper entry opposite the big zipper port is handy for getting at gloves, keys, earplugs, etc. that you can put in the bag (there's plenty of room!). I especially liked the backpack style carrying straps for toting my helmet from place to place.

I don't think that you can beat the price and the quality is excellent.

You'd be crazy not to have this

Cons:
none
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Street Bikes
Bottom Line:

The first one I purchased, I gave away to my friend for helping me bring my new bike home. When he took it out of the wrapper and opened it up to look at it, we both were very impressed. The next day I ordered another one for myself and have not regretted it. The shoulder straps make the bag comfortable to take my helmet, gloves, wallet, keys and cell phone with me when I go to the store. A great product!

Perfect amount of padding, folds up to nothing so you can stuff it anywhere. And the helmet is protected from the zipper by a foolproof flap (not so in many products). The backside zipper is handy. I find myself using it all the time to store things like my ipod so I don’t loose it. I do wish it was separately lined though. And while it doesn’t have any netting so the helmet can dry out, this is a good thing because it keeps the dirt and dust out which is even better. A sweaty helmet is a magnet for dust and dust plus sweat equals mud. I also like the backpack straps, one less trip out of the trailer.

Pros:
2 zippers for easy access, Durable, Good Capacity, Lightweight

It's very easy to insert the helmet on one side and then you can stuff gloves etc through the zipper on the other side of the backpack bag whenever you need to.

Great for Airport Travel
By DRAMVerified Purchaser from Puyallup, WA on 11/7/2006
Pros:
Durable, Good Capacity, Lightweight, Rain Resistant

Used the bag for my trip to Orlando. I was able to carry my helmet just like a backpack or messenger bag. 2 sets of zippers, one large one to insert the helmet and one smaller one, allowing you access to bag without taking out your helmet. I used this zipper to stash my IPOD and cellphone during security check. ( might as well use the extra bag to carry more stuff ) Suomy helmet and shield made it on trip in one piece without any new scratches. Bag is cheaper than others on the market and has more carry options.
