Great Boots
By Road RunnerVerified Reviewer from Alabama on 8/15/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Lacks Traction, Scuffs Easily
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Long Rides
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Liked the shoes. They fit well, but don't normally walk in them. Got caught in a frog strangler, and the boots stayed dry! The show scuffs easy, but hey, they are bike boots! Could have better traction on slippery surfaces.

Good Deal
By eg1vin from yay area, ca on 7/9/2007
Pros:
Good Traction, Price, Stylish
Cons:
Squeeks
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Racing
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I normally wear an 11 and got the 11's, and they fit pretty snug, but I'm fine with it. The gunmetal is actually more like silver, and the quality seems adequate. My only complaint is that it squeeks, but you can't beat it for the price.

A Great Buy

Comfortable, Durable, Good Traction
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Racing

I took another reviewer's advice and bought a larger size. I normally wear a size 11 so I ordered 12. In my case I wish I had stuck with the 11, with thin socks there's a bit of movement, with a pair of snowboarding socks they fit much better. I have a slightly high instep but getting into these boots when they are unzipped is easy. They are comfortable too. My break in ride was over 2500 miles in 3 days. The first time I got caught in the rain I didn't wear my over boots, (Totes rain boots), and my feet got pretty wet. I thought these were supposed to be waterproof, if so they aren't. I literally poured water out of them. The second time I got caught in the rain, through TN and halfway through VA I wore my Totes over the boots. When I pulled off for the night there was water between the Totes and boots but my feet were dry and the inside of the boot remained dry. I bought the gun metal because the only available sizes were those or blue. The gun metal is a bit bright, a bright silver color, if I had known I would have gone with blue. I just tell people they are my Michael Jackson boots.Protection seems adequate, entry is easy, they stick to the footpegs fine, they are comfortable all day. For the price you can't go wrong. Great product, great price, small sizing
By RoDuBsVerified Purchaser from York, PA on 5/1/2007
Pros:
Easy onoff, Good Traction, Seems to be well made, Stylish
Cons:
Sizing
Best Uses:
Aggressive Street Riding, Long Rides
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I usually wear an 11.5/12, so I ordered the 12(45). They are small! I should have ordered the 13. The boots are very comfortable otherwise. I've worn them about 5 times already. I wore them for about 9 hrs and even though they were a little small, my feet felt good!

All Leather Great Price

Pros:
Stylish
Cons:
Sizing
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Racing
Bottom Line:

I would suggest that you think long and hard about whether these boots will actually fit you. My personal experience is that the mfg size label is not very close or accurate. [...] At a minimum get one size LARGER than your shoe size. And remember closeouts are NOT returnable.

Hi-tech looking and easy to wear
By TwrecksVerified Purchaser from Ventura CA on 1/30/2007
Pros:
Integrated armor, Night rides, Stylish, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Not a walking boot, Poor wet traction
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Long Rides, Racing
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Lower zipper and upper velcro fastening makes wearing easy. Comfortable for riding but not for walking. Tread is slippery on pegs when wet. Reflectors on ankles is good for nights.
