For [$] this jacket is nicer than my Shift Avenger textile jacket that cost me $200. It has better layering and is more comfortable. It appears that Cortech makes some nice products. It's also nice that my Tour Master textile pants zip into the Cortech jacket.

Extra Heavy/Extra Sage
By Bikers MomVerified Reviewer from Humboldt, IA on 8/15/2007
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Long Rides, Safety
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this jacket for my son to wear on the highway and on longer rides to protect him from the elements and also the possibility of "road wear" if ever he were to have to lay his bike down. He Loves It!! Even with the lining zipped out it is pretty heavy for summer use, but it is well vented. There are lots of extra areas of padding and the outer material is really heavy and durable. It was well worth the money I spent.

Nice Jacket. Great value.
By RiderVerified Reviewer from Grand Rapids, MI on 7/17/2007
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Well Insulated
Best Uses:

Nice jacket, corfortable armor. Lots of adjustments and pockets. Removeable liner is quite warm, easy to remove and fastens securely. When it is removed the jacket is great for warm weather (70-90F).

Quality materials throughout.

Great Fit, Good Looking, Safe!
By TyskerVerified Reviewer from Great Falls, MT on 7/10/2007

Cons:
Not For Hot Weather
Best Uses:

This jacket is a very comfortable and good looking. I had a Cortech GX Air that I bought a few years ago and it never really fit well. I felt like The Terminator in the thing. It is very versatile for different weather situations. The zippered air vents work great. Not good for city driving at over 85 degrees though.

Good Jacket!!!

Cons:
Poor Fit

Good Jacket, I use it for everything. I havent got to try it in cold weather yet, but for the most part it seems like it would keep you worm. The fit isn't great (if you go by the sizing chart). My advice is to try it on at a store and then make your decision.

I wear this jacket to ride to work 35 miles on the freeway. In the morning I close all the vents and it keeps me comfortable. In the afternoon I open all the vents (there are 10!) and the airflow keeps me cool. Not like sitting in an air conditioned car but its in the high 90's right now. [...]

Very nice 3 Season Jacket

Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Adjustable fit, Comfortable, Decent Ventilation, Stylish
Cons:
Hot above 90 F
Best Uses:
Long Rides, Safety
Bottom Line:

I've had this Jacket for a few weeks now. Here in SoCal we dont get much rain, so I don't know how water resistant it is yet.
It's a very comfy Jacket while the temp is below 85. Above that, it's not bad with the vents open as long as you keep moving... Standing still is rather oven-like...
Feels safe with the armor in it.
Great value!

Definitey consider this jacket if you're in the market!

This is my first motorcycle jacket. It is heavier than I anticipated but I do feel safe in it. The ventilation is excellent. Living in Florida it is really hot most of the time, so it really matters.

By Triumphant from West Frankfort, IL on 1/25/2007
Pros:
Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Long Rides, Safety

Well made, though a bit heavy and very stiff. Hopefully it will stretch out some and loosen up when broken in. Very solid piece of gear that I would not hesitate to recommend.

Nice jacket
By The Punisher from Los Angeles, CA on 1/9/2007
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Cons:
A little tight
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Safety

This is a nice jacket overall. The only problem that I found is the shoulder fit. I ordered a size bigger to accomodate that, and it is still snug in the shoulders. Everywhere else is a great fit. The protection in offers is fantastic, and it breathes great. The removable lining is also very good.

My favorite jacket
By Triumph in Blue from Charlotte, NC on 11/21/2006
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Safety

Have several comparable jackets from different manufacturers and this one is clearly the best. Lots of vents, warm-removable liner, well made. I only wish it had a little more around the collar for those cold days.

Intuitive features, great jacket
By ChrisVerified Purchaser from Bayamon, Puerto Rico on 11/7/2006
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Safety

I've been using this jacket almost daily for the past month, and I'm very happy with it. The vents in the arms/chest are great, the insulated liner zips out for warmer weather, and a ton of pockets for stuff. It has also worked well in the rain...as long as the vents are covered. I stayed almost completely dry even in a downpour. My only real complaint is the weight (it's a little heavy) and I wish there were extra vents in the forearm area, where the jacket seems to get the hottest for me. However, I normally ride in 85 degree + weather so perhaps I'm asking too much. Again, great jacket for the price and I'm very pleased with the performance
