I finally got a mesh jacket but the problem is that the back pad does not seem like it was designed for the jacket. I have other jackets that the back pad is integrated quite nicely. It is almost as if it is the wrong one (which I suppose it could be) plus the back pad is not perforated so that when you ride and it is really hot it is like having a plastic bag on your back.
The jacket looks nice and appears to be pretty well made, my only issue is with the pad.
It fits a little snug. I would have thought it would be bigger. Most other coats that I wear are 3X or 4X
I love this jacket. The only thing I wish it had was more reflective material, as it is there is only a small patch between the shoulders and one on each arm. The jacket fits perfect, I sized it per the recommendations. So far it's holding up to wear really well.
Inexpensive jacket does the job. I recommend it to anyone with a budget. The (Large) size fits me perfectly although the fitting chart indicated I was in the XL category. Cleaning instructions are to handwash, but the gentle cycle works too.
I needed breathability, protection and style on those super-hot and humid New England days. This jacket provides incredible air-flow, with the benefit of armor. It's like wearing a football jersey over lighter, hockey-padding. Great! No more risking it w/ T-shirts!
Cheaply made, protection moves around a lot.

Very good mesh jacket. No problem with air flow at all, as it is completely mesh. Although many mesh jackets don't have body armour this one has elbow, shoulder, and back, ce hard armour. It keeps me feeling protected, while avoiding the unbearable heat that comes with hot summer riding. Maybe not totally abraision resistant, but that's the trade off for high air flow. The only thing I can sau is an unexpected con is that the arms are a little loose on the smallest of three adjustments. This is the second Fieldsheer jacket I bought and I am very pleased with their quality
