This is the best deal ever. (I bought the black one!). The quality of this jacket is worth twice (or more) the price. This fits me so much better than I expected it to. I can wear it over a sweatshirt, with the liner, in cold weather, but it fits nicely with the liner removed. The style fits my personality perfectly. Because I ride a maxi-scooter, I would feel like a "dork" wearing a street-racer outfit, and like a "poser" wearing leathers. This is a really great-looking alternative. I also bought the Cortech DSX denim pants. They fit a little large on me, but it works out great 'cause I can put them on over my street jeans in colder weather, not to mention the extra protection of layers. I would not hesitate at all in recommending the DSX jacket and pants. It may not be waterproof, but I'll just wear some quality TourMaster rain gear over it, No problem. BUY 'EM... You'll LOVE 'EM!!

I hadn't seen this jacket in stores, only on the internet, so I didn't know know what to expect. This jacket exceeded my expectations...I'm quite pleased. A couple days after it arrived I wore it on an over-nighter about 300 miles away with various climate conditions. It was versatile and comfortable. It seems well made and well thought-out, plenty of pockets and such. I like the look of it too, a nice alternative to leather.

Very nice jacket

Pros:
Comfortable, Stylish, Well Insulated
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Safety
Bottom Line:

I have used this jacket in 40 degree weather and it is plenty warm with the zip in insulation, it hasn't been warm enough to take out the insulation and open up the vents, but it should be fine in warm weather with all the vents it has in place. It looks good and has armoured protection that can be removed if you so choose. I definitely like the jacket. The only con is that it is a little heavier than I thought it would be...but not too bad!

I'm in the Pacific Northwest and until summer arrives, the weather changes often. I wore the jacket on a cool day (about 60*F), It was warm enought that I had to remove the liner, neaning it will keep you warm in cold weather. The jacket feels very confortable and gives you the sence it's well constructed. A friend recommended the jacket to me and I'd would do the same to anyone considering buying this jacket.

Just wore my new jacket for my first ride this season. AWESOME jacket! beats the heck outta a regular jeans jacket. Rode in temps between 50 and 55 at night and was comfortably warm in the jacket with the liner zipped in. This jacket has MANY features, lots of openable (via zipper) vents, pockets, etc... very good quality. Gonna buy my girlfriend one as well.

Excellent product for the price.
By DreedsterVerified Purchaser from North Yarmouth, ME on 2/13/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Stylish
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Long Rides, Safety, Warm Weather
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I purchased the DSX as I have several leather jackets that are just too heavy for summertime riding. Although I have yet to ride with it, I find it far superior in comfort than leather or cordura as it bends/twists/flexes just as your favorite pair of jeans. With the armor in place, it should protect just as good as cordura but I feel it would be inferior to leather. Just my two cents worth.

Like I said before I have th Black one and it looks good, very comfortable, I also wear mine with my electic Jacket Liner so I'm definetly warm, if it's very cold and rainy I will usually wear the Leather Jacket, don't know how this one holds up in the rain as I haven't tried it yet, I like the feel and it is nice looking
