Very good jacket only drawback is it's very heavy with the liner (it's removable though), but it's extremely warm with it also. Very water proof. If you are riding everyday in any kind of weather, this jacket can't be beat.

Cons:
Too Heavy

I just took a 900 mile ride in rain and 30 to 50 degree temps, this jacket kept me warm and dry the entire trip. It is a bit heavy but after a while you don't notice it.
I love it ... very tough and versatile.

I purchased this jacket because of the armor, size adjustability and reasonable price. So far I only have about a thousand miles on it from high 40 to mid 80 degree temps, and have been rained on 3 times. So far the jacket is great for wind and weather protection. I haven't had to put the liner in the jacket yet; not cold enough. The jacket vents well with all 5 vents open in 85 degree temps. Might be a bit hot in the summer (I live in Florida), but thats why they make mesh jackets, right? The jacket is a little heavy, but I'm getting used to it. I like all the pockets especially the hand warmer pockets and the water proof pockets. The sleeve and waist adjustments are great for keeping the jacket from flapping around in the wind. Have recommended this jacket to several friends and am going to purchase the ladies version for my wife in the near future. I also got the matching pants and love those also.

Solid Jacket
By Slippery when wetVerified Purchaser from The Great Northwest on 11/15/2006
Pros:
Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Weather Resistant, Well Insulated
Cons:
Not Enough Pockets
Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Casual Wear, Long Rides, Safety, Warm Weather

Solid Jacket. I purchased this jacket for my wife to use when the weather gets ugly. Seems to be constructed rather well and has a velcro storm flap that covers the full length front zipper better than other jackets I've seen. The neck collar 'Hydro Block Collar' is much softer than I would have thought and makes it much more comfortable against your skin, it's also removable (like the inner liner) which makes it easy to store in a tankbag or saddlebag. The velcro enclosures at the wrists are pretty standard but the adjustable snaps up the arms provide more options than other jackets giving you a custom fit. All pockets are protected from bad weather by folding over against themselves. The reflective material on the jacket is also quite impressive and seems to be placed in all the right places. The only complaint I have is that it could use a couple of sleeve pockets for small items like an extra key, or a ferry pass. Other than that, the jacket is definitely worth the money spent.
