RideGear.com Return Policy
Your shopping experience at RideGear is backed by a commitment from RideGear to value our customers' purchasing decisions. We strive to ensure every customer receives the right product to suit their individual needs. Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, a purchase may not meet those needs and may require an exchange or refund.

 We will gladly accept your returned merchandise under the following criteria:


  1. All returns, and order cancellation requests, must be pre-authorized, on the phone, by RideGear. Return Authorization numbers will be issued by our expert Gear Advisors through our Call Center during our normal hours of operation (800-515-1380, Mon-Fri 8am PST - 5pm PST). We no longer accept return, refund, exchange or order cancellation requests submitted by email (online).

  2. All returns must be shipped (postmarked) to RideGear within 21 days of the date your order(s) shipped. Please refer to the packing slip for confirmation of shipped date.

  3. All returned merchandise must be in new and unused condition, and in the manufacturer's original package or box. Returned items must be in original packaging and shipped in a separate shipping container. For example: Helmets must be right-side-up in the manufacturer's box, and this box must be placed in a generic corrugated cardboard box with a padding element such as Styrofoam peanuts or packing paper; exception: shipping containers where the product was originally shipped to you in its original display box as the shipping container, such as an over-sized item that requires assembly. Packages and boxes returned to RideGear not meeting the above described criteria will be refused. Note: Helmets must be placed in their protective cover/bag before placing in their respective box to avoid damage to the helmet finish (i.e., scuffing). Helmets not returned in their respective protective cover/bag before boxing may not be accepted by RideGear, and may be returned to the sender without further processing.

  4. All manufacturer printed materials originally sent with your purchased item must accompany the returned merchandise.

  5. All returned merchandise must be shipped with the RideGear issued Return Authorization (RA) number clearly marked on the exterior of shipping carton / envelope.

  6. Closeout, Blowout and/or Special Order items will not be accepted for exchange or return.


  7. Shipping fees on returned merchandise are responsibility of the customer. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Items returned shipped "Freight Collect" will be refused.


  8. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Please follow the above mentioned criteria as returns received not meeting the criteria above will be ineligible for credit or exchange and will be returned to the sender.


International Returns - All International returns must adhere to all the conditions mentioned above. In addition, the sender is the exporter of record and is solely responsible for all shipping costs and applicable duties and taxes. All non-compliant shipments will be refused by RideGear. Refunds will be processed in U.S. dollars. Product exchanges processed and shipped to International customers will be assessed shipping charges in accordance to RideGear's International Shipping Fees chart unless the exchange is a result of a RideGear error. The recipient of the shipped exchange product is the importer of record and is responsible for all duties and taxes.
